Even at the age of 10, Joshua faced the nightly trouble of bedwetting. He felt alone in his struggle, like a ship lost at sea in the dark of night. One stormy evening, as the rain tapped against his window, Joshua fell into a deep sleep and soon started dreaming. He is found himself standing at the edge of a mysterious lagoon. The water was still and as dark as the night sky, and the moon shone brightly, casting a silver glow over the surface. He became scared. A gentle voice whispered on the wind, “Joshua, you have the power within you to overcome any challenge.” Suddenly, the lagoon began to stir, and from its depths rose a majestic creature, the Guardian of the Lagoon. Once upon a time, in a small village nestled amidst rolling hills, there lived a woman named Amina. She was forty years old, her face etched with the lines of countless prayers and the weight of unshed tears. Amina had longed for companionship, for a love that would fill the emptiness in her heart. But life had been unkind, and her path had been strewn with thorns. Amina’s marriage had been delayed by circumstances beyond her control. She had watched her friends wed, their laughter echoing through the village, while she remained alone. The villagers whispered behind her back, their words like sharp stones: “The spinster,” they called her, their eyes filled with pity or disdain. But Amina was resilient. She clung to her faith, seeking solace in the mosque, her tears mingling with the cool marble floor.
