PINEAPPLE BABIES BY KHADIJAT BABANSULE

Pineapple babies

Funke was a woman who desperately wanted to have children. She had been married for 10 years, but she and her husband had no luck in conceiving. They had tried everything, from medical treatments to prayers, but nothing worked. Funke felt like she was cursed and that God had forgotten her.

One day, she heard about a traditional remedy that involved eating pineapple. She learned that pineapple was a fruit of the womb, and that it contained bromelain, an enzyme that could help with digestion and inflammation. She also read that some people claimed that pineapple juice was more effective than cough syrup, and that it had immune-boosting and antibacterial properties. Funke thought that maybe pineapple could also help her get pregnant.

She decided to give it a try. She bought a bunch of pineapples and started eating them every day. She ate them for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. She drank pineapple juice, made pineapple smoothies, and even applied pineapple slices to her skin. She hoped that by consuming pineapple in every possible way, she would increase her chances of having a baby.

To her surprise, it worked. After a few months of eating pineapple, she noticed that her belly was growing bigger. She went to the doctor and found out that she was pregnant. Not only that, but she was expecting triplets. Funke was overjoyed. She thanked God and the pineapple for her miracle.

She decided to name her babies after the fruit that had helped her. She named them Ananas, Comosus, and Bromelia, after the scientific name of pineapple. She also bought them pineapple-themed clothes and accessories. She wanted to show her gratitude and love for the fruit that had changed her life.

On the day of the naming ceremony, she dressed her babies in pineapple dresses. She also wore a pineapple dress herself, and decorated the house with pineapple ornaments. She invited her friends and family to celebrate with her. She served them pineapple cake, pineapple pie, and pineapple punch. She told them the story of how pineapple had helped her get pregnant, and how happy she was to have her babies.

Everyone congratulated her and admired her babies. They also laughed at her pineapple obsession, and teased her about it. They joked that she should open a pineapple farm, or start a pineapple cult, or write a pineapple cookbook. Funke laughed along with them. She didn't mind their jokes. She was happy and proud of her pineapple babies. She knew that they were a gift from God and the fruit of the womb.
