The Tale of the four friends by Halal Babansule

 Once upon a time, in a vibrant town filled with the hustle and bustle of everyday life, there lived four friends named Joshua, John, Michael, and Samuel. They were known throughout the town for their intelligence, bravery, and diligence. Joshua, John, and Michael were not only academically gifted but also kind-hearted and always willing to lend a helping hand.


Samuel, however, was different. Despite having the same potential as his friends, he had a penchant for seeking excitement in the wrong places. He was often seen with a group known for their troublesome behavior, much to the concern of Joshua, John, and Michael. They would frequently remind Samuel of the consequences of such associations, but Samuel brushed off their warnings with a wave of his hand.


As time passed, Samuel's new friends led him down a path of poor choices. One fateful night, their mischief escalated beyond harmless pranks, resulting in serious trouble with the law. Samuel, caught in the midst of it all, faced the harsh reality of his actions and was sentenced to jail.


The news of Samuel's imprisonment shook the town, and his three friends were heartbroken. They had seen the signs but couldn't sway Samuel from his chosen path. While Samuel served his time, reflecting on his decisions, Joshua, John, and Michael decided to turn this sorrowful tale into a lesson for others.


They visited schools and community centers, sharing their story with the younger generation. They spoke of the importance of choosing friends wisely, for friends can influence one's path in life significantly. They emphasized that true friends should uplift and support each other towards positive goals, not lead one another into darkness.


Samuel's story became a cautionary tale, reminding everyone that while it's essential to be brave and hardworking, it's equally important to surround oneself with good company. For the friends we choose can either help us soar to great heights or pull us down into the depths of despair.
